Hello Blonde Lovers!
I’m really excited to share this post with you because it’s all about my recent trip to California! It was so nice to just chill, eat, and discover my little heart out. I enjoyed going to different cities and exploring everything they had to offer.
My first taste of Cali came from this yummy place Bottega Louie, not only do they have fabulous food but specialize in pastries including macaroons!
Don’t these look amazing?!
Naturally I got a margherita pizza….. because pizza is life!
Visiting the Santa Monica Pier was so cool! The beach was beautiful, ice-cream was delicious, and the view from the Ferris wheel was truly spectacular.
Isn’t is beautiful?!
Onto more yummy food…. these fish tacos were fabulous from Blue Plate Tacos. The restaurant was right across the street from the beach, the whole atmosphere was just so relaxing.
To die for tacos
And the margaritas…. They were so tasty and the glasses are so cute!!
Don’t get me started on the dessert…. Seriously…. churros and salted caramel ice-cream… Probably the best dessert I’ve ever had in my life! P.S calories don’t count on vacation 😉
Another day was spent in Hollywood! Basically tourist central I did basic tourist things… Took a picture of celebrities, like Statham I’m obsessed with, shopped at the tourist stores, hit up the wax museum and took pics with all of my celebrity husbands wax figures… oh and of course wore a California t shirt!
The drinks were too good to resist at Hardrock Cafe.
When Backstreet Boys are you all time fav…
I also got my new favorite daytime LBD from Romwe, which is one of my favorite online shopping destinations for new and unique clothing that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. They always have amazing deals like 60% off your first order and always have free shipping on $50 or more… what a deal!
I paired it with this super cute western style belt from Forever 21, it’s super inexpensive and helps give you shape and style.
This dress is a great piece to have whether you need to throw it on to go run errands or jazz it up for afternoon brunch.
Probably my favorite quaint little brunch spot just down the street from the loft I was staying in was seriously the best!
P.Y.T you know how to make a mean grilled cheese!!
Of course they place re runs of Vanderpump Rules lol!
The salmon was super yummy.
My last day I stayed more local, DTLA had much to offer including some fabulous happy hour cocktails! Preux & Proper you know how to make some fantastic drinks! PSA I’ve never had bourbon before but this blackberry honey sour was freaking delicious.
I hope you guys enjoyed my journey in California! I can’t wait to go back next year!
